Rencananya Suzuki akan secara resmi meluncurkannya pada 20 April mendatang di Shanghai Motor Show di China.

Sebelumnya prototipe Suzuki GW250S diumumkan secara resmi pada Oktober lalu di China International Motorcycle Trade Exhibition 2012 (CIMAMotor) lengkap dengan versi khusus Polisi, GW250J. Kedua model ini merupakan produksi pabrikan motor lokal, Haojue, yang tetap bekerjasama dengan pihak Suzuki.

GW250J yang juga semi berfairing ini memang dikhususkan bagi motor patroli Polisi di China. Setang kemudi GW250J diatur lebih tinggi dari pada GW250, posisi duduk tegak inilah yang membuatnya berbeda dengan versi standar, plus windscreen sebagai pelengkapnya.

Menggunakan mesin Twin 248cc mampu mengubah bensin menjadi tenaga yang mumpuni untuk kedua varian ini. Haojue mengklaim mesin ini mampu menghasilkan tenaga 24 hp pada 8500 rpm dan 21,7 Nm pada 6500 rpm. GW250 dilengkapi dengan transmisi enam percepatan.
